I've purchased two of these of units, because I use the second on my second camera for weddings, and I'm also experimenting with using a second flash off the camera, via the infrared wireless, which I think is really cool. I have no complaints whatsoever about the flash itself. Very fast, very quiet, very accurate, great recycle time, and the wireless options are really convenient. However, like all other canon products, it is not designed with "user-friendliness" in mind. If the camera is used in its most basic modes, it's very simple to use.
