I am strictly a home/hobby photographer but This Flash has very good range, recycles very fast and has lots of flexibility in it's usess. I have not used it enough yet to see how the battery life. Overall it seems to do a very good jobGet more detail about Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash for Canon EOS Digital SLR Cameras.
